2002 ironhorse sgs's dropouts?

Actually the dropouts are the only parts I HAVEN'T seen break on SGS bikes. Headtubes, seat stays, chainstays, pivot yokes, BB welds.............can't say too much for those though.

I've ridden an 02 SGS DH for a year now and haven't had any problems whatsoever. I'm 6'5" and 190lbs with gear and not the smoothest rider so I think they'll take the abuse.
maybe older model year stuff but the '03 and '04 bikes are top notch. weaglized baby
Every one I've seen break (about 5 of em) were 03s. Weagle's not the one welding or supplying the tubes.Originally posted by RD

I've never seen a broken SGS, I ride with a bunch of guys who have them as well. Sure Dave isn't the one welding, but he is spec'ing tubing and geometry and I believe he's done a damn good job at it.
Then by all means, buy an Iron Horse. Not trying to start nothin' I promise.
