I have a 2002 shiver DC that tops out funny. The pre-load knobs are what is causing the clunking. I know that they need a funny thin washer or 2 that seems to be a marzocchi only item. I am wondering if this sounds right.
ALSO.......needing some advice on assembly of it. NOW when you take the top caps off, say to add oil/change whatever, when you go to reset everything up, there is a giant nut that looks like it fits into the top cap of the forks. I am wondering what is the correct way for setting the preload before you stick those top caps on? I seem to miss this part and when I put it together it feels funny.
I just need some help on the DC. I have worked on my SC Shiver and it's been no biggy, but this DC thing has me confused. Any help on either one would be greatly appricated.
