I am an idiot.

I just got a 2004 dirt jumper II, and I want to know how to adjust the travel from 6" down to 5". There are shrader valves on the top of both legs.

How do I reduce this travel?

Yea not much you can do with that fork , the pumping rides are plastic so it's gonna feel like poh no mtter what you do to it .

Have your LBS order the Z-1 extended negitive spring from marzocchi USA , once installed this will drop the fork about an inch , you can use some 19mm 3pc crank spindle spacers on top of that for some extra dropage , then use 10wt or 15wt oil to slow the damping down a bit and the fork should be decent but not great .

Good luck !
