Ok. looking at an 04 V10 with a std drop out rear wheel. I know Dee Max will work. Will a Diabolous crankset fit up with this setup? I have another option on the crank set I can use but if possible I would like to run the RF Diabolous I have.

I did a search but not much came up. I do know the std BB for the QR version for Isis is 122 mm. Just wondering if it might work.

They will, my friend had that setup for a while.
Must be a few different dropout types then. I know I had to build my wheel up differently on my 2004 V10 with std dropout. The dropouts are replaceable, wouldnt be that hard for SC have the correct ones I imagine.

is 112 the spindle length or spacing? you're most likely to need the longer axle for the diabolus. The standard one works with up to 73mm bb shells plus a chainguide, so i'd imagine the longer axle might well work. I don't know if Race face will give you the axle on its own or if they'll send you a whole left arm axle combo since the fit is very tight.

So is it official, is the Turner is going to be retired?

This weather is starting to kill me. Warm for a few days, then a few days of cold or snow. Hockey is rapping up in a week or two and I'm grabbing my Haro in a few days so hopefully that will hold me over till the trails clear up.

I'll have to give you a call, I may head up to that park in Worcester soon if the weather starts getting better.

Think I am good as the Diabolous will go on another bike.

Today the Turner was retired by me. DHDAD and I did a straight up swap. I now have a 4 ride old small 04 SC V10, w/TI spring. Its in mint condition. DHDAD has my 02 DHR which will be built up mid season. It worked out perfect. The V10 is already cleaned and on the stand to be finished as soon as my Dorado gets back from Answer.

I have to thank Seth as he mentioned to Kevin I was looking for a new frame soon.
