so, i thought all of the V10 Mono frames were 83mm bottom bracket shells, and had iscg05 mounts....

i just picked up a supposed 06 V10 frame, and the BB shell measures 73mm, and the ISCG (not 05) mounts are not attached to the frame, but are bolt on. so do i have an early 05, or is this standard for the frames?

and most importantly, what size BB should i go with? i was about to buy an 83mmx56mm Truvativ Howitzer Team BB, but now i'm thinking i need a 73x128mm?

Santa Cruz changed the bottom bracket shell during the 2006 year. Some frames had a 73mm shell with no ISCG mounts and some had a 83mm shell with ISCG.

SC doesn't go by model years. They release updates and changes when they are ready.

Yup, whats already been said, and just to repeat Truvative team is avaiable in a 68/73 in either 51mm or 56 mm chainline. Youll want the 51 for 135 rear wheel and 56 for the 150 rear wheel. If you look at the specs on how to order, the 51mm replaces a 113 Standard Isis drive and the 56 replaces the 118 Isis drive. Very strong bb By the way, Just got a set of Hussefelts for myself. Very easy to set up as well
