Same here, LightFR/HeavyTrail,

Z1 fork, MTX rims on Hope hubs, XT discs, NS cranks, E13 DRS, ....
Here's a picture to get an idea...

6" Sherman Slider, Raceface cranks, Grimeca System 8's...
Picture was taken the day I built up the bike... since then I've cleaned up the cockpit a bit, added GRC levers, an eibach/MRP 550lb spring, traded D521s in favour of D321s and now running Comp16's front and rear.. I've also set the headtube angle to the slacker position since the photo as well. I'm not a big dropper or jumper -- it's a perfect all-rounder for me.

nice sx, furious. i've seen you @ whistler. i'm looking to build something like that to replace my hardtail. i had my sights set on the new sx trail - (the raw one @ JH looks sweet), but the production brown anno finish & apparent lack of frame-only option has swayed me.

Be sure to say hello if you see me up there again.
I'm having a hard time figuring out what to do.. I'm tempted to swap all components over to an azonic steelhead and sell the enduro frame and then buy a complete Demo8.. or sell the '04 SX, try and figure out how to get an '05 frame as my only bike, and save some $$$ so i can actually have furniture in my apartment

D321s are holding up well, but going tubeless + michelins + D321s makes for a very large volume on the tires.. I had to downsize from a Comp32 on the front to a Comp16 when I switched from D521s to D321s

Yeah, I saw the little red sticker on the top tube about 5" of travel. I don't know what happened to it though ;)

In a thread about the Fox 36 some one posted an A-2-C height of 535mm. This is 40mm shorter than a Marzocchi 66 set to 150mm (5.9").

This A-2-C measurement confirms my thoughts about the '05 Enduro SX trail's actual geometry with a 6" 66 fork as compared to the standard '05 Enduro with a 6" 36 fork. If the 66 is truly ~1.5" taller, that means the HTº should be approx. 1.5º slacker. This would make it 67-68º (adjustable) and the BB height should be 14.5" or 14.9" compared to 13.7-14.2"

I think these numbers are pretty much spot-on for this type of bike. I would run the slack HTº to get the lower BB though.
