Putting the West Virginia race in June again has to be the single most moronic thing I can think of.

Seriously, its a mud fest every year because June is dead in the middle of their rainy season. The locals comment on the stupidity of this every year.

There is NO WAY that I am going to West Virginia in June again. Screw that.

I heard from a very good source that the WV and VT races are going to be in the first part of August next year. Perhaps this is a very preliminary schedule.

Mike - hoping I'm right.

That is what we have all been hoping for the last few years. I hope that they do it. It would make a lot of sense to try to plan ahead with the UCI on the World cups also.

Asking the teams to do the back and forth across the US twice is just asinine. If the organizers can think ahead a little, the costs to operate a team can go down significantly, and because of that, attendance will be up. Higher attendance means more revenue for the venue, and NORBA. Its pretty simple...

Just from taking with friends this AM, there seems to be a lot of companies who are not too stoked on the June WV thing again. If it were up to me, Id rather cancel the race as Snowshoeif it has to be in June. A majority of the riders dread it. Its hell on equipment. Riders get seriously hurt there becuase of the conditions every year (more so than other venues), and I dont even want to think what the environmental groups have to say about the courses!

Lets hope youre right. I am as big of a supporter of NORBA racing as anyone. e.thirteen spent a lot of money over the last few years driving our truck around the country and supporting our amatuer and pro racers. There aren't a lot of companies doing that. I plan to do somehting about this to help persuade NORBA into what could be better for everyone.

I for one am glad that VT and WV are split up for once. I'm sure a lot of East Coasters will be happy about this too, because it makes it much easier for us privateer racers who have jobs and can't take off for essentially 2 weeks in a row.

I've been ticked off the past few years that they completely cater to the West Coast by having them back to back so it's easier for you guys to hit them both. It's great for you guys, but not for a lot of us.

Still tentative though, I'm sure there will be a few changes to be made, so we shouldn't get our panties in a bunch just yet.

or 2 trips to the west coast...

I think there should be more NORBA events in the east, like at Whiteface or Mtn Creek just for example.

Thats just me though.
