The DHS remained unchanged because they introduced their new DH bike, the 2:1 DHS Mono. They once again offer two DH bikes like in the old days when they had the tube and the mono. Now they have the 2:1 mono, and the regular mono.

no im just saying on a big dh bike the lower ratio is better. here it adds weight. on a 4x bike i want that shiat to be light as hell

Don't forget that the FXR is also a trailbike. But yes, I would agree that a low leverage ratio is not as important for 4X as it is for DH.
