Some tiny little rinky dink brewpub near our house won a silver medal, which I think is pretty cool.

Next year I'm going on Thursday. :rant:

By Saturday's session alot of breweries were out of some of their beer - at the *start* of the session. We still got to try about 50 IPA/DIPA/ImpIPAs. My winners in no particular order:

Chama River - Dangerous Intentions DIPA
Il Vicino - Hop Elixir DIPA
Moylans - Hopsickle IPA
Moylans - DIPA

I think Moylans also had a triple IPA, but it wasn't as good as their "lesser" offerings.

One pleasant surprise: boobies. The girls were there and dressed to *kill*... :confused:

Hmmm - maybe their definition of the "NE" was a bit broad - there were at least three full rows of breweries in the NE region. I'd guess 30 or more.

it's probably pretty expensive for a small NE brewer to travel w/ beer to CO for the show...the guys from Ipswich decided to throw their own party @ the brewery instead.

Allagash was the clear Northeast region rep bringing it strong. And they certainly have the beer to back it up.

Only NY brewery making the cut was Ommegang. Nothing out of previous winners from the Otter or Chelsea.
