I marked the halfway point in school with a cumulative GPA of 3.947 and two certification exams under my belt.

Plus, the whole 9-day Costa Rica trip was kinda fun, I guess. A little. :monkeydance:

Got to do more biking this year than I have in a while. Even rode a lot of new trails.

Made some new friends, got back together with some old ones.

Nothing really bad happened, but not that much "post worthy" happened either that I can think of now.

*Had an awesome kid.

*Started racing DH and DS in 40+ expert and did good for 1st year: couple of podiums and ended up 4th overall in the Gravity East Series for my class.

*Began to have fun again on trail rides! Not taking it all to seriously despite all that racing stuff.

I went to some shows.

I read a lot.

I went to CO twice.

I went back to Philadelphia and saw family for the fist time in about a dozen years. The only good thing to come out of a funeral I guess.

My band released our 10th full length studio album. Rolling Stone did not review it (a good thing). Spin did review it (a good thing).

Finished building a completely brand new custom drum set.

Played several shows garnering reviews such as below:
Neurosis still know how to bring about an audiovisual apocalypse and finish up before the downtown noise ordinance kicks in.
Funny how most guys that age just want to play golf.

Recorded some game trailers:

Finally took the leap and got a decent DSLR camera. Like I needed more geeky sh1t in my life.

MOST IMPORTANTLY:
Impregnated my beautiful wife. Expecting in April '08. This proves once again that sitting on a seat pushing pedals (drum or bike) does not inhibit fertility.

Got a sweet job, left it for another that was supposed to be better only to end up back at the first.

Overall a great year, though.

this year had a lot of learning.... the bad first, got a life ban from my local dh mountain for being stupid, some people act as friends but only talk to you because of a skill, cant trust teachers... today i was drug tested for bull**** reasons.... the good, going to a school i like now, got my license, became a better photographer as well as a better person.

I had an awesome vacation off the coast of Washington.

I had my most successful year racing.

Got to hang with some cool monkeys at the Kingdom Trails.
It was good riding with you too.

I traveled across the country via car....again. I haven't slept in an actual bed for over 4 months. I got a job I love, new friends who are awesome, live in a beautiful place, and am making more money than I've ever made before.

Life has been sweet this year. 2008 has a lot to live up to.
