Did my first ever laps at a bmx track last night. Had a great time. I wish I knew about it years ago. Did some googleing and I came across this... Debut of a new Olympic Sport... I think I'm actually gonna look forward to the summer olympics.

This is great exposure for the cycling world, but it raises a question...

Will this make cycling an overcomercialised fashion show similar to what happened to snowboarding?

Discuss....

Disclaimer: Did a RM search and really didn't see much aside from a few obscure mentions on other threads and one thread that just got silly and had to be closed....

hmm...I don't think it will matter how commercialized cycling will become after the Olympics as long as the riders stay true to the sport...D

Dude there was a girl in the break room the other day randomly telling me how much she liked watching curling. What was she really trying to tell me:crazy:

I think I enjoy it cuz it involves ladies getting real low to the ice. Not really a fan of Men's Curling, but women's.... oh man, I'd stay up late for that stuff..
