Those old-timey books are a hoot, aren't they? I've been immersed in several 16th and 17th century "housewife" type guides trying to decipher a 16th century beer recipe for modern use.Currently ploughing through the Canterbury Tales in old English.

The Zombie Survival Guide
That's a fun oneCurrently reading The Catechism of the Catholic Church
It's actually been quite interesting, better than I expected for sure. It's something I've been meaning to read for some time, but always found a reason not to.That's a fun one
Under the Banner of Heaven - John Krakauer
Book of Mormon, for ****s and giggles...it's been awhile.
Out of My Later Years - Albert Einstein
Gaiman rules, and Stardust the movie really wasn't too bad. probably one of my favorite book to movie interpretations as well.Have you read his "follow-up" book, "World War Z?"
One of the best books I've read in a while, interesting how he took a lot from the Survival Guide, and the way it's written, as a series of interviews, is really interesting.
Opie: I'm a HUGE Gaiman fan, but I couldn't bring myself to see the Stardust movie. I guess the book meant a lot to me, and I don't want to spoil my memories of it.
Anyone here read Neal Stephenson? Big fan of his stuff, I think Cryptonomicon is probably my favorite book ever. And huge props for someone who names the main character of "Hiro Protagonist."
I'm sure it's not. Claire Danes looked like a good choice for the character she plays, I just have a very strong mental image of that book, and don't want to change it.Gaiman rules, and Stardust the movie really wasn't too bad. probably one of my favorite book to movie interpretations as well.
