Anyone know if there is any validity to the e-rumors about delays on 2010 Glory production? Hearing about EPP's getting pushed back months and now I am reading about actual paying customers not being able to get completes till May. Was thinking about ordering a frame in January but the potential time line is a concern.

can anyone shed some light?

If You order a frame in January and your local distributor doeasn't have it and he cannot get it from nearby distributors, the leadtime may be even 5-6 months.
So, You may not get the frame at all or get 2011 model year.
New, 2010, Glory is soo good, that the deamand may exeed factory's capacity.

Yeah, we hooked brooks up with that from our shop. ordered it like two months ago. he finally got it built up a couple weeks ago. definitely a very very nice ride. but no probs with the frameset orders. i think the delays are with the completes. if anyone on the east coast is interested in a 2010 glory frameset, pm me, our shop hasn't had any problems getting them.

Yeah, we have frames in stock. My Giant rep said Glory 1's are about to ship. That's here the the USA.

My reports from Giant is 5 due in the US at the end of Feb. 4-5 of them have
been prepaid. If your shop can get them, you must know someone very special.
The delayed reports are true, good luck - looks like I will be on something else for the first time since 2000.

I have to wait til May for mine. I am half way tempted to get something else but nothing else comes close for the price or performance. I don't know what else I would do. It's frustrating.

i think they heard that the downhill ridemonkey community thought their head angle was too steep and the bike was unrideable, so they cut production.
