so I'm pretty serious about ordering one of these frames the day they are made available, but I need some valuable info first. As far as I know the complete bike will have a 135mmx10mm Maxle setup. But will the frame only bike have this too???? The maxle is no good for me as I have a set of Mavic crossmax SX's That I want to put on and they are 10mm QR. My second concern is what will be comming on the frame for a headset. My fork is 1 and 1/8th. Will the frame come with a 1.5 in the bottom or a reducer????
I know Giant just had a big demo day at Whistler for all the dealers so I'm hoping somebody has some answers to these questions.

Cheers

The geometry chart shows the TT length, HA, SA and wheelbase all being the same as before, yet the chainstay is now 17.1" instead of 17.3". Gotta be a typo somewhere.

Crossmax SX is QR stock and converts to 10 or 12x135. I run my SX wheels 10x135 with a Hadley axle.

The frameset web page is here, the bike/frameset uses a 12mm axle: http://www.giant-bicycles.com/en-US/bikes/mountain/2274/37122/
Really???????? and Reall????? Does the Reign X use a 12mmx150mm hub?????
My Crossmax SX's are the 2007's, and I was told by OGC that they could not be converted to a 10mm thru axle.
If the Reign X is a 150 x12 then I have a DT/hadley setup I canb use as well.

135x12 Maxle. 2007 Crossmax SX can not be converted to 12mm - 2009 models can.

I said 12x135mm. I have 09 SX wheels, not sure about the older generation - call up Mavic USA and ask if they have adapters for 10mm and whether you also need them for 12mm.

How about this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God dammit!!!!!!!!
Anybody know the frame weight of the new Faith? If its 10 pounds or under I may consider it.
I'm bassically looking for a frame to replace my old Faith. I allready have a DH bike (2008 Demo) and my old Faith is built for AM/freeride and weighs 37 pounds. I want to drop some weight. The Reign X would be perfect but I recon that Faith is friggin sweet looking.

FYI, our rep. said the specs in the catalog are wrong. The Faith is an 83mm BB and 150mm rear spacing.

upon further investigation the Faith's seatpost length and angle are going to be no good for seated pedaling and climbing....both things I will be doing with the bike..........I might have to stick witht he Reign X and get a Rear wheel.

Sucks they won't give you a coil shock with adjustable hi/low compression. If the rates are the same as the previous generation they could make a big difference.
