Hey. First off, I would like to say a few things about Trek: Downhillers ride the lift accessible parks from May-October. A next year bike comes in to stores in late September (when lifts are almost closed). Then, Trek stops production of 2010 models in late May/early June 2010. This means there is a 4 month period of no bikes being made or sold by Trek. Absolutely ridiculous.

Secondly, anyone out there know of a bike shop with a large 2010 Trek Session 8 in stock? (frame or complete).

But Giant and Specialized are still producing, why not Trek too. I mean no one is going to buy the 2011 models so might as well make more 2010.
