The vids above are from a fun little area deeper in the woods that has since been modified slightly but has nothing to do w/ the event course.

As for the D.D.C. course, it will be an intermediate level mix of freeride, dirt jump & slalom type obstacles.

6' high starting platform, 4' high tabletops throughout (wooden & dirt), a ladder section w/ 6' drop to lander, a satellite type berm transfers, rollers (dirt & wooden), berm transfer, 10' drop to transition down a 30' clay pit wall, 12' gap transfer, plus more ladders & berms to make it flow better.
Trying to make it fun, technical & flowy while staying w/in the IMBA & Porc.Org guidelines.

Most of the obstacles are in level areas with some short down hill sections, so there will be some pedaling, especially on the long course. The area is essentially one gigantic grown up clay pit w/ 4 smaller pits inside. Don't forget, this is Florida.

The short course starts on a 100 yd level area crossing back & forth across a fire road, then drops down to a lower slalom like section ending on a jump trail straight of way. Total short course is about 3/8 of a mile.
The long course, starts the same, then ventures up & down around one of the other clay pit walls ending w/ a big drop & gap jump. About 5/8 of a mile or so long.

Here's the general course idea from the air.

Nothing to complicated for experienced riders, just a fun little course.

I'll be posting pics of the new trail additions as we get them done. So far we've got the extra 100 yd cut-in finish & now we're finishing the start platform & the first tabletop. Next on the list is the satellite berm transfer. We're slowly making our way down the course adding things along the way when the weather allows.

Stay tuned for more info.

So is this a timed event or judged on style... (or both?)

Edit... both. Nevermind I read the website.
