2011 Trek Session 8 : For Real

Trek has definately taken a step down this year. Plus, you can barely find the frameset on the website. Why is it listed as an alternative view of the Session 88?

Ummm its listed as session 88 and then you click on frame set where there is a picture of a frame set?

I wouldn't get too scared by the Trek MSRP's - they're notoriously high and give dealers a lot of room to come down on price. For instance, when the Session first came out, they were advertising the frame at more than $3k ($3300, I think?). I paid $1800 from my shop, and he didn't exactly lose his shirt on the deal (nor did he make a killing).

Moral of the story - patronize your local Trek dealer, and don't be surprised if he can give you a deal that's a ton cheaper than MSRP.

Looking on Trek's website, noted HA now listed as 64 for both models.

Also interesting that the 88 now comes in an XL with a 48.2" WB.
