I bet for most people a Split Pivot sticker would be all that's needed for it behave better under breaking.
Thats a crazy Missh mash of components on that Nukeproof. Marz forks with RS vivid shock, Sram shifter/RD with Shimano cranks, and their Jersey is made by Royal but they're sponsered by TLD. CRC must have some pull to be able to pick and choose componets like that.
I wouldn't be suprised at that.
Considering they are probably the biggest customer for most of their sponsors, they can probably do whatever they want...
I'm thinking that pictured bike is one off Photoshop special. Neither Shimano nor Rock Shox are listed as sponsors and both appear on that bike.
I think that's exactly what they do. They walk down the isles of their 100000 square foot warehouse and pick and choose components and clothing right off the shelves. If there was any team on the WC circuit that would have a "missh mash" of components you'd think it would be them.

weird yes, but not totally unheard of. Aren't there a few pros sponsored by CC for suspension - which would be rear only (double barrel).

I know Adam Brayton is sponsored by Cane Creek for the Double Barrel. Last year the Nukeproof junior team had the double barrel on their bikes as well, the same again this year. Not too sure who else, I am sure there are plenty more.

Its strange that the Photo chopped pic of the new bike is gone from the Nukeproof site, and the pic on pinkbike now has a CCDB on it. Earlier in the day the bikes had Vivids.
I was wondering why they'd switch from the CCDB (That they've used for years) and go to a vivid, especially where they seem to be hand picking components.

the language difference seems more like your problem.
I wonder if it's the exact opposite of that. Since CRC sells both Sram/Shimano (and other competing brands) that they spec their race team with a little bit of everyone to keep them all happy and piss off their suppliers. Note: I have no idea if this is true, just thinking out loud here.

CAll me f*cking crazy, but I bet it has to do with whoever chooses to give the team financial support. Being able to pick parts out of your warehouse inventory doesn't exactly pay for 8 tickets to South Africa.

dont know about you man, but I'm totally reassured by my stickers when my frame snaps under me...
The Troy Lee Designs relationship with Nigel's team is a helmet only deal. Nigel wanted his guys in the best helmets on the market, came to me and we struck a deal-it is always a pleasure working with Nigel and his athletes.
The entire team will be in blue carbon pinstripes-Matti in a RedBull painted D3.
