I bet for most people a Split Pivot sticker would be all that's needed for it behave better under breaking.Because it would have all the advantages of a makulu but behave better under braking?
Thats a crazy Missh mash of components on that Nukeproof. Marz forks with RS vivid shock, Sram shifter/RD with Shimano cranks, and their Jersey is made by Royal but they're sponsered by TLD. CRC must have some pull to be able to pick and choose componets like that.great news for Al Bond as he joins the CRC/Nukeproof squad.

I wouldn't be suprised at that.I bet for most people a Split Pivot sticker would be all that's needed for it behave better under breaking.
Considering they are probably the biggest customer for most of their sponsors, they can probably do whatever they want...Thats a crazy Missh mash of components on that Nukeproof. I think that's exactly what they do. They walk down the isles of their 100000 square foot warehouse and pick and choose components and clothing right off the shelves. If there was any team on the WC circuit that would have a "missh mash" of components you'd think it would be them.CRC must have some pull to be able to pick and choose componets like that.
they used Marz forks last year and CC shocksThe Marz/SRAM thing is a little weird.
weird yes, but not totally unheard of. Aren't there a few pros sponsored by CC for suspension - which would be rear only (double barrel). The Marz/SRAM thing is a little weird.

this is what I meant. ooops. and I didn't realize there was no DH version of it yet.i think he means split pivot in particular, of which there is no DH model.
there is. its called the Sessionand I didn't realize there was no DH version of it yet.
Yeah they are so similar in pivot placement and leverage curvesthere is. its called the Session
leverage curve has nothing to do with split pivot....but they are located in the same place as abpYeah they are so similar in pivot placement and leverage curves
Never claimed it does. Still I don't undersand the point of your sarcasm. Must be the 2nd language thingleverage curve has nothing to do with split pivot....but they are located in the same place as abp
oh, since you obviously missed the sarcasm..
.maybe i should have used a smiley face
sure made it seem like it with your commentNever claimed it does. Must be the 2nd language thing
I wonder if it's the exact opposite of that. Since CRC sells both Sram/Shimano (and other competing brands) that they spec their race team with a little bit of everyone to keep them all happy and piss off their suppliers. Note: I have no idea if this is true, just thinking out loud here.Considering they are probably the biggest customer for most of their sponsors, they can probably do whatever they want...
CAll me f*cking crazy, but I bet it has to do with whoever chooses to give the team financial support. Being able to pick parts out of your warehouse inventory doesn't exactly pay for 8 tickets to South Africa.I wonder if it's the exact opposite of that. dont know about you man, but I'm totally reassured by my stickers when my frame snaps under me...I bet for most people a Split Pivot sticker would be all that's needed for it behave better under breaking.
The Troy Lee Designs relationship with Nigel's team is a helmet only deal. Nigel wanted his guys in the best helmets on the market, came to me and we struck a deal-it is always a pleasure working with Nigel and his athletes.Royal could be teh clothing sponsor and TLD is helmets and protection.
The Marz/SRAM thing is a little weird.
The entire team will be in blue carbon pinstripes
speaking of Matti... how's he doing? anyone know? The entire team will be in blue carbon pinstripes-Matti in a RedBull painted D3.
He's healed and back on the bike. (His facebook page says he was on a trail bike in november and first time on DH bike december 26)speaking of Matti... how's he doing? anyone know?
Whoa whoa whoa..........what, no blue suede shoes?
At least he can modify that tattoo to "dirtbag" 3-4 years down the line.Duncan Riffle to Dirt/Norco. (YAY!)

Questionable tattooing ensures.
