I think his first butt-patch should say 'Butt-hurt' , that or the hot patch on his Butcher tires.Nah, it's his butt-patch!
Go read what Stik, said. Nice guess, but no.He is not lopes, he will still be wearing a jersey that people can buy from TLD. My guess will be a TLD moto lid with Redbull paint.
He's too smart to not wear a moto, imagine where Johnny Waddell would be if it wasn't for a moto lid.
Careful what you blurt out on the internet. I just went on a mad hunt to see what brands he wore. Cratoni, Giro, Bell, TLD, TLD Edge, original D2, D2....arrggghhhh! And the only pic I could not find was of him tucked on a gravel road from an old magazine going from right to left across the page somewhere in Europe.Pretty much on TLD helmets his entire DH career. Ugly Giro for a bit when he got back into enduro, but rides a D3 now.
Why the personal animosity against Whiteley? Did he "butt-hurt" you? Frankly, if someone f*cked with my livelihood, I'd be pissed, too. I don't think we have the whole story yet and Gwin certainly doesn't come across as a Saint either. But that's just my opinion.I said it a few pages back, and I'll say it again for clarity's sake (but a little more clear): Martin Whiteley is a greedy fat f*** who is obviously butt-hurt because this move hurts him financially by extension of being the Team "Manager"/owner. Aaron Gwin's character, future in the sport, what bike he's riding, etc. are all largely irrelevant -- if he wins, Martin gets paid -- and that's probably the only thing he's ever cared about. His press release, that cringe-worthy YouTube video, etc... ALL point to the same conclusion.
My guess is that he [Martin] tried to leverage his position as "Manager"/owner of TWR to squeeze as much money out of Gwin as possible, and Gwin, being a very level-headed/professional guy (in case nobody noticed), did exactly what he should have done (and ultimately, did) -- entertain alternatives.
In hindsight, he's clearly realized that no amount of money will "buy" Aaron Gwin back now, and he's working his way through the Kubler-Ross 5 Stages of Grief.
say wha?you forgot the ?

You kid?Good to see MW back as the level headed professional that he has always been. That was a great article that finally felt like we are hearing facts not emotions. Hope all the best to TWR and gwin.
Wasn't there a reverse version of that?
My thoughts as well.... Ok, next rumor please.99 pages...
Didn't think it would last that long myself.99 pages...
Why would anyone want to buy the bike that kept Sam from winning the WC?
