The 1st event of the Bootleg Canyon Winter Gravity Series is shaping up nicely. Online registration has already seen close to 200 racers! Since, online registration is still open until Wednesday January 14, 11:30 pm (pst), organizers are expecting record size crowds. Many fields are filling up quickly and you will need to bring your "A Game" to make a podium spot. With the series newest sponsor, Ryno Power, podiums positions will go 5 deep for all disciplines (DH, SD, DS and Open Chain-less), in all adult categories and age brackets. Now that's a lot of Ryno Power! On-Site Registration will open on Friday at 9:00 am, but will cost between $10.00 and $25.00 more depending on how many races are chosen.

Think your not up to racing at the State Champs?
Categories will range from Pro, Expert, Sport, Beginner, Semi-Pro/Open and Fat Bike. Then, with age brackets being 6-10 (FREE), 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49 and 50+ leaves many choices for anyone with a bike to get in on the competition.
The world has been keeping their eyes on BMX Olympic Athlete, Mike Day after his 2nd place finish at last years Reaper Madness DH.

Last year Bootleg Canyon saw this Olympic BMX stand-out go from a 6th place finish at the 2014 KHS Nevada State Champs, to a 4th place finish in the Mob n Mojave in February, all the way to his 2nd place finish at the Five Ten Reaper Madness in March. Many are expecting GT's Mike Day, to get to the top box this year.
