this thread hasn't been very active lately. is everyone else in disbelief that it's 2016 and we have to vote for giant douche or turd sandwich?
I told a coworker a few weeks back: if we were back at the beginning of the election cycle with all 20 cannidates or whatever and then out of those 20 thought: what is the worst possible situation we could have?....

@jonKranked and @Jm_ Part of it too is that most of us have probably resolved that Trump is dangerously unqualified and therefore we must vote for Old Pant Suit to prevent the rule of Douchebag Von Fuckface.

The tread has become inactive because no one really wants to talk about the shit sandwich they're having for lunch any more than they want to listen to Trump's insane bullshit.

People are too concerned with watching the outrageous act of people sitting down during the national anthem while sitting on their couches. You know, important stuff.

Old pants is smart and qualified, just everything that's wrong with the status quo, big business, etc. We lost our change for someone progressive, but yes, we are telling ourselves at least she isn't bat shit crazy like Trump, hence, vote for her.

When I saw Trump's Lamborghini for sale on ebay with the Trump sticker, I thought it was fake until I saw a truck with one over the weekend. The comb forward logo is awesome.

A facebook funny I just have to share.

I follow West Coast Choppers because I used to have a lot of respect for Jesse James (before the TV version of him) and still enjoy some of the things he builds. But yesterday he posted a photo of his Trump watch professing his love for "such a great man". I know Jesse is a crazy right wing nut job especially since moving to Texas. But while scrolling through the comments, I found a gem.

"You should build a Trump bike. I could be slow, loud, orange, and made of parts from China and Russia."

The white biker dude who likes porn stars and dressing up like Hitler is a Trump supporter?

Never would have guessed that one.

I'm surprised there isn't more press coverage of this, it's pretty profound when you think about it.
Nobody is interested in your supposed facts there mr. liberal elitist guy.

Seriously though, Trump is running this whole campaign/long con game on emotions and how he can manipulate and play into a disturbingly large and vocal demographic. He said it best himself when he declared that he could shoot someone on Fifth ave. and not lose any voters. They just don't care about the truth, just what they feel and Trump pulls their strings like a master.

The media craves ratings above all else and Trump dangles golden carrots before them for his own gain. They get bent out of shape, but like any good abuse dependent junky, they go right back to eating out of Trump's wee fingered hands.

Mean while Hillary is doing...wtf knows, 90% of media coverage is on Cheeto Jesus. Unless it's to report that she has pneumonia or poops and sleeps like the other humans.

Black people only have themselves to blame!

Kathy Miller, who is white and the chair of Mr Trump's campaign in Mahoning County, told the Guardian the Black Lives Matter movement was a "stupid waste of time" and social issues facing black communities in the US were "not our fault".

"If you're black and you haven't been successful in the last 50 years, it's your own fault. You've had every opportunity, it was given to you," she said.

Riding the baggage carousel.
Shows how weak HRC is if Latino heavy CO is in play.
CO was pretty reliably red until just the recent last couple of election cycles. In 2010 fascist strict constitutionalist, Tom Tancredo made a pretty good run at the governors office as a third party candidate running to the right of the nominated republican. I think you strongly underestimate the number of people in this state who still cling bitterly to guns and/or religion.

This probably cements my vote for Pantsuit, distasteful though I may find it.

This. Colorado is well within the Utah bat$hit-crazy-sphere-of-influence and has been for a LONG time. Don't let the freaky Boulder-hippies and East-coast liberals on the Front Range fool ya.

in a single wide, cooking meth...
My take away from last night's "debate" was both sides missed easy opportunities to high light their respective strengths:

* Drumpf (Misogynistic attitude and low brow lewdness) - Wear a tie made out of the same material as Monica's dress

* Pantsuit (Staying "married" to Bill) - Explicitly task Bill with hitting on, and hopefully snuggling with Melania and/or one of the daughters during the debate.

Oh well, maybe next time.

2/10 would not bang

“Well, I was commenting on the candidates demeanor which is what you evaluate as a political journalist when you’re watching a debate and I said Trump looked uncomfortable and out of sorts and I’ve forgotten what else. And I said Hillary Clinton looked composed, smug some of the time and not necessarily attractive… talking about demeanor here. This is what we judge. Well, a lot of people on the internet took that as an attack on her looks so they mounted this massive tweet storm attacking… guess what? My looks.”
