Claudio says Bryce is quitting racing due to his concerns over the associated carbon footprint...
Hippies. A lot of pro snowboarders are thinking the same for example. To a certain point I find it cool that they make the most of their homespots, but it is actually something different racing a serie then producing a videopart.
Santacruz should buy him a Tesla. And he should plant trees in the offseason.

I can't see the problem anyway as pornhub will plant a tree for each 100th video watched on their website.

Part of me wonders if ratty is just having a laugh at all this speculation and is just throwing fuel on the fire
more of you should be wondering that, methinks

of course, no one can understand what the hell ratty's saying anyway...he could just as easily said that he's decided to take some time away from the sport to "increase his copious bonghits."

Claudio's delivery seemed too non chalant about Ratty leaving. Also saying that it's "really cool" that he'd quit WC for that reason?

I think it's fake.

I dunno, rat didn't win a lot this year, but he's still one of the more popular riders on the circuit. Unless THE SYSTEM IS RIGGED then I doubt anybody knew how the season would end. Maybe since peat is gone, he's more free to go elsewhere, but I would imagine they'll stick around for the most part to keep the syndicate alive.

I think it's more interesting to see that hart when from struggling under marzocchi to winning with fox. @Udi must be right, fox is superior to all.

i read somewhere a blurb from an interview that he changed to a new training program for the offseason last winter. seems to have worked out very well for him.

Think about it, Ratty is Peaty's pet rat, Peaty retires, Sam Hill goes full Enduro, leaving an opening on CRC paypal for DH. Nukeproof makes Al. frames, Ratty talks about reducing his carbon footprint. Ratty is going to CRC, you heard it here first. Unless he doesn't, in which case you heard it from Pink Shirt Photos, not me.

Saw a quote of his girlfriend stating that he "has a sixpack for the first time" this season.
Danny always had the skill. It´s just that guys like Gwin, Gee and Greg are machines with limitless power.
Seems like he finally stepped up his training to match their fitness and it´s paying off.

Plus Danny's marzocchi was stuffed full of Fox internals anyway wasn't it? That said, Danny did specifically shout out all the suspension testing he did since being supported by Fox (while failing to mention any other sponsors by name) in his post-victory interview. Point being having massive support for testing and tuning from the suspension manufacturer is likely more important than the specific platform someone is running at this point.

In all his interviews, Peaty kept saying that he isn't going anywhere, that he'll still be at the races even if he's not racing. Maybe he will be a team manager, and ratty will be his rider? Kinda like CG did with his CG Brigade...

Jiminy fuckin' Christmas, I can't believe I have to continually put on my patronizing Udi hat and read the (obvious) tea leaves for you guys. The Lizard People have already won it seems.

Anyway, let's go over the not so subtle clues about what it coming down the pike for Peaty -

* He's retiring from WC racing
* He used to always be seen sloshing down bland Stella piss water
* We haven't seen him sloshing down bland Stella piss water in some time
* Dos Equis is looking for a new, and more interesting spokesman
* Dos Equis is bland piss water

So to spell it out for you guys, here's a glimpse of a future ad campaign -

Nope, it wasn't. I had the chance to speak with the teammanager of MS Mondraker. He is an Austrian and we were accidentely hanging out in the same bikeshop (bongshed).
Marzocchi had this amazing race mechanic which more or less built the internals of the 380 by his own in the season when the Bulldog won his first worldcup.
Prior to that they had some serious problems with the suspension, which caused for example this:

Anyway, like you said, the platform is only so good as the support team you have.

And Danny went all out in his approach with camping for almost a month at Ft. bill and on other tracks to train and test.
The coolest part though is, that he now is going overseas to shred a Whistler a new one!

Hart has been a top level pro for years. Training and Fox suspension is one thing, but 4 wins and a Gold at worlds, unthinkable He looks like a totally different guy this year. Greenland already at the top end in his first year Elite.
I think the Mondraker rig should get some love? No disrespect, but Florent Payet?? takes the bronze at world champs with Suntour Suspension?? The Summum takes Gold, Silver, and bronze on the toughest track of the year. :clapping:

I imagine the marketing guy at Mondraker just blew his load imagining the job he's got cut out for him now.

Going to float a new theory over all the Syndicate mumbling, I'm gonna guess that we will see a merge of the SRAM/TLD and Syndicate programs. The rosters will merge and Santa Cruz will provide frames to match SRAM components and TLD clothing, Gregs mention at the end of the last syndicate video makes me feel like they are staying with SC but changing around components.

Orrrrr maybe they are merging without the support of SC for frames and the riders will be able to make their choice of frames, and Greg is planning on testing frames. I kinda almost want that to happen since Greg seems to have a keen mind on bike engineering and could lead to some interesting combos.

Interesting, but while I agree that Greg could provide great feedback to many potential sponsors, I would be surprised if Greg wanted anything other than his hyper custom V10. In his interview he as much as said, "my bike is so sweet right now that I feel like it has reinvigorated my desire to race..."

No way bru, Greg is just providing the standard lip service so he can cash a few more checks from Roskopp. While I agree he does like customized shit, it'd be a lot easier to work directly with the guy fabbing up the frames...Owl let you know when I can provide more details, but for now I have to leave you in the dark...
