Hippies. A lot of pro snowboarders are thinking the same for example. To a certain point I find it cool that they make the most of their homespots, but it is actually something different racing a serie then producing a videopart.Claudio says Bryce is quitting racing due to his concerns over the associated carbon footprint...
Would be a bit odd for a guy who's company/crew/whateer is named after 2-smoke mix to quit riding bicycles for a living due to carbon emissions. 50:01, braaaaaaappp!Claudio says Bryce is quitting racing due to his concerns over the associated carbon footprint...
Where's the RM irony emoticon when we need it?Would be a bit odd for a guy who's company/crew/whateer is named after 2-smoke mix to quit riding bicycles for a living due to carbon emissions. 50:01, braaaaaaappp!
more of you should be wondering that, methinksPart of me wonders if ratty is just having a laugh at all this speculation and is just throwing fuel on the fire
No that would make too much smoke and CO2Part of me wonders if ratty is just having a laugh at all this speculation and is just throwing fuel on the fire
i read somewhere a blurb from an interview that he changed to a new training program for the offseason last winter. seems to have worked out very well for him.I dunno, rat didn't win a lot this year, but he's still one of the more popular riders on the circuit. Unless THE SYSTEM IS RIGGED then I doubt anybody knew how the season would end. Maybe since peat is gone, he's more free to go elsewhere, but I would imagine they'll stick around for the most part to keep the syndicate alive.
I think it's more interesting to see that hart when from struggling under marzocchi to winning with fox. @Udi must be right, fox is superior to all.
Saw a quote of his girlfriend stating that he "has a sixpack for the first time" this season.i read somewhere a blurb from an interview that he changed to a new training program for the offseason last winter. seems to have worked out very well for him.
Jiminy fuckin' Christmas, I can't believe I have to continually put on my patronizing Udi hat and read the (obvious) tea leaves for you guys. The Lizard People have already won it seems. In all his interviews, Peaty kept saying that he isn't going anywhere, that he'll still be at the races even if he's not racing. Maybe he will be a team manager, and ratty will be his rider? Kinda like CG did with his CG Brigade...
Nope, it wasn't. I had the chance to speak with the teammanager of MS Mondraker. He is an Austrian and we were accidentely hanging out in the same bikeshop (bongshed).Plus Danny's marzocchi was stuffed full of Fox internals anyway wasn't it? That said, Danny did specifically shout out all the suspension testing he did since being supported by Fox (while failing to mention any other sponsors by name) in his post-victory interview. Point being having massive support for testing and tuning from the suspension manufacturer is likely more important than the specific platform someone is running at this point.
mook proof is kind of a british brand, too.Think about it, Ratty is Peaty's pet rat, Peaty retires, Sam Hill goes full Enduro, leaving an opening on CRC paypal for DH. Nukeproof makes Al. frames, Ratty talks about reducing his carbon footprint. Ratty is going to CRC, you heard it here first. Unless he doesn't, in which case you heard it from Pink Shirt Photos, not me.
he was always had the skills and speed to get on the podium, just lacked the consistency. that changed in a major way this season.Hart has been a top level pro for years. Training and Fox suspension is one thing, but 4 wins and a Gold at worlds, unthinkable He looks like a totally different guy this year. Greenland already at the top end in his first year Elite.
I think the Mondraker rig should get some love? No disrespect, but Florent Payet?? takes the bronze at world champs with Suntour Suspension?? The Summum takes Gold, Silver, and bronze on the toughest track of the year.
I imagine the marketing guy at Mondraker just blew his load imagining the job he's got cut out for him now.I think the Mondraker rig should get some love? Hasn't the hard part been already accomplished?I imagine the marketing guy at Mondraker just blew his load imagining the job he's got cut out for him now.
Yep. I wonder if results actually translate to sales? Either way, that Champs podium is a dream come true for any manufacturer.Hasn't the hard part been already accomplished?
Payet is part of a small french team: http://www.voulvoul-racing.com/pilotes/Interesting that Payet is riding a Summum, which actually is "a little" small for a guy with almost 2,00m height.
Is Payet a privateer?
No way bru, Greg is just providing the standard lip service so he can cash a few more checks from Roskopp. While I agree he does like customized shit, it'd be a lot easier to work directly with the guy fabbing up the frames...Owl let you know when I can provide more details, but for now I have to leave you in the dark...Interesting, but while I agree that Greg could provide great feedback to many potential sponsors, I would be surprised if Greg wanted anything other than his hyper custom V10. In his interview he as much as said, "my bike is so sweet right now that I feel like it has reinvigorated my desire to race..."
