How do you buy canal boats and copious amounts of the devil's lettuce without money?
Is this reason confirmed? I respect it but I wonder what career path he can take? Regardless of what you do in the bike industry it always contains heavy travel, nature of the beast...
Based on what appeared to be lackluster effort this season, I don't really think the reason for retiring really matters, it was obvious he wasn't into it.
Theres a rumours he's liking the green stuff these days (I don't have an issue with that) but its far from being a motivational pass time to be honest its fun while it last but if your going to turn all hippie and shit and throw away a career its clearly not that great.
You should look up gary houseman, Ross Rebagliati or chris del bosco.
