Jenson is having a sale on Forks. wondering what the big difference is between the Factory and Performance besides price. Is it just the cartridge?

Looks like the factory may be Non-boost so i might have to go with that one anyway. Then i can move the SR Suntour Aion fork to the HT.

I think the difference is kashima coating vs black, and could be the damper too.

You can get some simple adapters. And just think - when you get a new frame, it'll invariably be boooooooooooooooost and you won't need to buy a new fork!

Performance forks have GRIP dampers instead of FIT4, black stanchions instead of Kashima and gray bushings instead of the beige ones. Some of them (like the 32) have Trelleborg seals instead of SKF.

Do you know if there is any difference in sliding force and durability between the 2 types of bushing and the different seals?
Fox has replaceable bushings unlike rockshox if I remember correctly

They seem to work equally as well and we haven't seen issues with em.
