Just listened to Cécile's interview in the Vital slideshow. Really interesting to hear her say she was dissapointed in the fact she didn't have the power to pedal hard enough in the urban section. Also interesting to hear her say she's not keen on doing another DH race because there isn't enough riding. Says she did 11 runs on a 2.5 minute track = a lot of waiting around.

She should come and do Sainte Anne...

And granted its a new track, but 11 runs sounds like a lot. Don't some of these guys/girls do like 4 and then just hit it on sunday at full tilt?

in the redbull interview warner did right after quali's with minnaar, myriam, the uci guy and whiteley i believe both riders said they typically do around 10 runs each.

also anyone who hasn't seen it should watch it for the uncomfortable moments alone.

started watching it. saw it was 40 minutes. cringed through a few akward moments and thought TL;DW.

That last section was more like one of those urban dh's they have in south america. Before the race the riders seemed like they were just happy to see a new course.
