getting 10-12 habanero's ripening each day now. There are a dozen Trinidad Scorpion and 3 ghost pepper pods that are almost ripe enough to pick. The Caroline Reaper has gone to full bloom. hopefully I get pepper pods soon. The Chocolate habaneros are really growing but it may end u being too late in the year for them

I don't know how I missed it but behold, the first Carolina Reaper Pepper pod that I have grown.. Evil looking thing. It's supposed to be the worlds hottest pepper.
Still no freeze in the 10-day forecast...

you can coax them to ripen some in a paper bag if you're facing down a freeze. not ideal, but better than letting them freeze
Just before the inevitable freeze, I'm gonna pull the big stuff and plop it in the sun room...

Sounds like we're all doomed if a male plant ever finds a female and they produce viable seeds. Given that they're already taking over by just spreading from existing plant material from a single female source.
Went out this afternoon to get tomatoes... came in with probably 15lbs.

Just processed a bushel of tomatoes for some homemade sauce. Next up some eggplant and fresh tomato pasta and not sure what else...gotta use them up before they go bad.

Law states in CO that you can grow up to 12 planta for personal consumption legally, amiright?

Man that takes alot of fun out of it. I would imagine you can go down to a store and buy rooted cuttings to grow out? Being able to do that would save you alot of time and also the pain of growing a plant only tp find out its a dude.

Just peeled 5lbs of San Marzanos in preparation to put them in the freezer...
