Big oof. Picked a couple of riders who did well last round, all of them did terribly this. I am not good at this game.

Ditto. I thought I'd just run what I had for Ft Bill but turns out it just gave me a bunch of random riders for some reason.

It seems unlikely my riders values from the first race would have gone up.... If anything an equine vet with a shotgun possibly finished them off in the middle of the racetrack
Anyone know if Myriam is going to be racing this weekend? She's been on my team since the start and hasn't raced yet :/

well you have a budget, and you pick riders until it is exhausted.
Yeah but do you pick 4 elite men that are strong or 8 weaker ones or even 12 or whatever.
you need to pick the ones that make it to the finale with the best points/cost ratio
I get it but that's why I said I'm too lazy to make a spreadsheet and probably per round it's a different number of people that are optimal
10 years ago I'd probably go for it but since I'm currently on psychiatric medical leave from a job that was exactly that I'm not really rushing to do it.

I'm a city boy and so is my fiance plus we have adhd and we need a job that's not too slow paced. We have friends & all here so not keen on moving even if the wages are a bit silly. If not for that I'd probably look for positions in Spain or Netherlands. Swiss companies in my industry are usually ran out of France (fuck their corporate culture) or Luxemburg but if I won't find anything good I might be more flexible. Was thinking Munich too simply because I have family nearby (not near enough to be annoying). The thing is I speak German like a 5 year old with brain damage. Pretty happy with the team I had. One pick I regret is Jess Blewitt as it was a higher dollar rider that I should have picked several lower dollar riders.
I haven't actually done a spreadsheet yet...now with three races there should be a few trends to pick out to find the consistent under valued rider or two. Glad I picked Lachie this week.
