i saw an ad in MBA for some wavy rotors that were bigger than 203mm. they were 223mm i think. who remembers the company? i dont.

Nope, if I recall to run them you just needed a standard 8" adapter on top of a frame/fork already designed for 8" rotors.ioscope said:

I've got some hope gothic 205mm rotors...just a tad bigger than stock avids I believe. Had to use a spacer on the caliper to run them. Sounds like you are talking signicantly bigger than 203 though...
like buell's new setup. way lighter than regular dual discs, but i doubt any up us plan on doing 100+ mph on our dh rigs
205 is a hope 8in, everyone has their own idea of 8in, 205mm for hope, 203 for hayes and avid, 203 for shimano and grimeca, 210 for magura and 200 for formula (i think)Mr Tiles said:
