Durango/Purgatory resort have officially began the process of bringing the 2030 World Champs to the US.
40th anniversary of MTB World Champs back where it all began.

Part of the process is having multiple larger "test events", so maybe US Champs coming here soon?

In any case it would be awesome. If you think WV has mtb racing fans, just imagine World Champs in Colorado! It will be chaos....

You could do Durango and Telluride in 2 weeks. Two WC races. That would be most excellent (that's my Bill and Ted Excellent Adventure coming out)

Chapman hill. Oh man that takes me back. Freakin Ft. Lewis and all their talent. In my day, they were always on top. (College/Uni racing for those not in the know.)

Purg/DMR whatever you want to call it already had a WC, right? Or just a NORBA? I forget. (As well as ToHellUride) Anywho, def worth it if you ask me.

I'd say, how about a new category? the "Super Dooper XC"?

Race would be the Colorado Trail from Lakewood to Durango. HA. Is possibro. First one to not die wins?
