Many people posted about this in another forum.......
The main diff I can see is the non-disk hub does not need to be dished offset. It is the same on both sides. Making the wheel stronger (to what degree I don't know) by having better equalization of tension from one side to the other.
I don't know what he is usign it for but if it is a DJ witha Marz QR20 fork and no front brake it would work.
Ringle/RS Boxxer made a non disk 20mm hub. And others said Marz made one for their own forks at one time. I think they can be found really inexpensively.
