I am sure we can allow a little space if necessary. I believe we're going to have a similar camp set-up as last year (combine 2 site--1 for sleeping and 1 for other).

We can work it out ! We can stuff tents all over the place as needed! I should go check the Sites Behind Jakalopes , Humanitys only hope, Ass Balancers . we'll find a Spot

I'm going to bring the boys with me. Liam's birthday is June 22nd and I think it would be a fun weekend for them. Perhaps we can have a little "birthday party" for Liam. I think two nights of sleeping there would be pushing it for Connor - but for Saturday night I think it would be fine. Hell Liam will just turn 9 a few days before and Connor is 6, they'll sleep just about anywhere.

Well I e-mailed them anyway. If they say "Go ahead and grab a 2nd site", our problem will be solved. A little elbow room would sure be nice, and the other monkey teams would be more than welcome to throw any extra stuff in that site.splat said:

I started riding a couple of weeks ago, so I should be on track to be equal in fitness to last year. Obviously I won't be winning any fast lap times, but I am looking forward to having a good time with everyone.

It would be awesome to see any of the monkey gang on course! Last year at Dalton I didn't see anyone I knew. But at Old Pueblo I was seeing people I knew on course every lap. That was fundouglas said:

I saw last year was on my last lap - Isabel(sp?) on the pipeline climb
The only I saw on a lap last year was Tweek, and it was at the start of a lap while he was pulled over with a mechanical. I fully expected him to blow by my pokey ass not too far into the lap, but I guess his mechanical issue was pretty serious.

BTW, I am not experiencing butterflies in my stomach when I think about the race this year (I was last year), so there is some hope that I won't spend half the weekend on the crapper.

I didn't see any other monkeys on the course at all last year.
