I took 4th out of 9 in Solo 12 Hour, completing 55 miles and 10,000+ vertical feet, not bad for being a junior and being my first 24H Race

I'm an XC racer, and this was a hell of a lot more fun than any XC race I've ever been to. Felt like there was a lot more camraderie (sp?) at the 24 Hour race.

so true, I've done 2 now, and am already thinking about the next one in december.

it's noce cos the one thing I'm good at is riding slow, and it seems riding slow actually helps...
