One of my Dalton teammates was in Lake Placid this past weekend, and stopped into High Peaks Cyclery. Based on conversations with their staff that puts on the event, it seems that the 24 H.O.Adirondacks will have to be cancelled this year. Something about the Olympic Regional Development Authority not allowing participants to camp onsite this year. They didn't give an "official" word, but they did say it "doesn't look promising".

Bummer, I had planned on doing it.

Thanks for the unfortunate info. I have done this race for the past four years and it has always been a great race and a well-organized event.
