I like the tread pattern on the Geax, 640g per tire is good for a 29r. The only compaint I have is that the compound is a little hard for the terrain I'm on.

I built the wheels up with Hugi 240, Lefty Sl hub, No-tubes rims. So far, So good.

Danbury, Ct is my new home on the east coast. I can't wait to bring this bike to AZ to shred.

Biker's Edge in Bristol has some good 29r goods.

The gentalmen who run NYCMTB are 29r junkies, cool guys.

But the west is best when it comes to this stuff...

AZ Bikes in Flagstaff or Arizona Cyclist in Tucson is where its at.

Bikers Edge - the last time I was in there their 29er content consisted of those Specialized Hybrid 29er bikes and that was about it.

Maybe they've gotten some C-Dales in since the holidays though.

I'll be happy to host a ride around Nassahegon State forest.

Problem is, I'm currently 29er frame-less. I've got the wheels, but no frame to put them on at the moment. And my 29er fork is up for sale at the moment too - but that's just because I've decided that my next 29er will be a dedicated rigid single speed bike.

that works!

And I've decided to keep my fork and now look for a frame, so I should be 29ering sooner than anticipated.

Now......what frame to look for.......hrmmmmm.
