26 vs. 24

i have a 26 inch dj ive been building up but ive been debating between sticking with it or getting a 24 inch. anyone have a 24 they'd be interested in trading?
This is the specs on it.
khs dj100 frame
truvativ holzfeller cranks with gravity bash gaurd.
azonic ultracross bars
kore stem
magnesium azonic pedals
truvativ isis bb
diamond back grips
k2 dj seat
rear v-brake
sr suntour forks, squeak horribly. but if the trade's right i can put different forks on
old diamondback wheels

ill tell you the problems ive had with 24 and 26.
riding 20s, everything but urban and at the track the tires were just too small. i couldn't find a frame with geometry i liked.

riding 26 is nice for trail but its big for manuevring and parts cost alot, im 14 ok, i make like 70 bucks a month. riding it anywhere other than on just a trail, not jumping or anything. ive enjoyed riding friends 24s on alot more.

i think 24 is the best compromise for what i do. because i can't afford to own, upgrade, and maintain over 1 bike at a time.

24's are a very good compromise between the two sizes as far as strength and sometimes weight goes. but, be careful about which frame you ride them on since many 26ers ride very low on 24's.
