Steel plus sus fork at sub-30 lbs is the sh1t. I think I'm like 27.5 on my 24.

On another note, anybody know why i was "half unsuccessful" lowering my fork? The fork SHOULD be 80, but there is more than 80 of gold, is this so there is just a tad more when it bottoms? Help appreciated, it got lowered 20mm from stock which was 100, its supposed to be 80 right now, but doesnt look it

I believe that my Float that is set at 90mm shows more the 90mm of gold on the leg also.

There will always be a little bit (usually around 10mm) of stanchion left when the uppers are bottomed out. You probably do have around 80mm of travel.

26lbs seem really high, i would have thought it would be less, mines at 23 with sus and a brake and will be less once my new tires are on. nice bike reguardless

I was kinda surprised as well, My guess is that its the tires/tubes and boat anchor cranks, i cant figure what else could go lighter without becoming stupid
