I spent five hours today with brush cutter and chainsaw clearing some stuff under the power lines and manually hauling it away. I think I'll sleep tonight.

Returned the excavator now that the tree work is done and the cut bank is graded, now waiting on a D1 dozer with a mulcher head to slash the front side of the property since it is too steep to do with any other machine then I will be able to run the D5 and push out the front of the house pad. Might be a week or two of down time waiting for the D1 to get hauled to the local dealer, apparently there are only 3 in the state and they are all on rent.
im curious to hear how you like it as well, can live without mine anymore. fell a couple more giant trees today and it did it like a champ. Asking way too much for the saw and the length of the bar but very impressed with mine.
Oh, I get it. It's a pound and a half heavier than my Jonsereds, somewhat different inertial dynamics, cuts well, somewhat quieter than the Jonsereds, less of a PITA to get ready to use, easier to clean up. Tends to get cuttings in the battery compartment, so getting them out is part of routine care. I like it.
