Aside from what I consider to be one of the cleanest and fastest webmail interfaces available, you get 1gb free storage. Plus, not that many people have signed up for it so you have a good pick of usernames.
The reason everyone's posting the invites is because it's not publicly accessable yet. You have to get an invite in order to get an account.

yeah must have had problems the first time cause i just got it. i tried it and i think it said it had like expired maybe but idk. it might have worked. it also said something about possibly someone using the link before. oh well.
