I first rode my 02 DHR with 175mm race face north shore cranks.
Never had any probs with it except for riding in rock gardens, then my cranks/pedals would be hitting stuff al the time.
Since I sold my toy III, I was thinking of putting my 170 mm dmr cranks that I had left over on the dhr, that's closer to the 165mm cranks that turner recommends for the Dhr.
So I bought a very cool Profile spider, tried to put them on and everything fits perfectly but only 1 little prob, with the spider fitted and having to add enough spacers to clear my evil chainguide rollers, I only have 0.7 inch = 18mm of axle left on each side that goes effectively in the cranks.
Do you guys know if this would be enough to have support for the crankarms?
Thx
Steve
