I have an 07 Scott Voltage frame I just want to use as a 4x/play bike. I need help picking parts so that its rather cheap.

You can get Sun Rhyno Lite XL rims / Shimano XT hubs wheels for really cheap.
The Deore or LX old Shimano hydraulic brakes are cheap too, but decent. Those, or Avid BB 5's would be cheapest.
Get LX/X7 shifting.
An older Fox or RS Reba would be a good fork IMO.
You just have to hunt around, there are lots of good deals out there right now.

Get a proper chain guide, drop the front derailleur and ride it until something breaks.
Thanks so far. And what would you recommend for a cassette in the back?
and would Azonic Outlaw Wheelset be alright. Sorry Im a noob haha.
The Azonics are a good budget wheelset, from what I read, but I've had no personal experience with them myself. As for the cassette, I'm running a 9spd Dura Ace on mine, but you should be fine with whatever you've got, for the time being. Do a search on the forum, most parts you'd be looking into, have most probably been covered in one thread, or another.
