I am going out the door but UPS brought me a brown box with my surprise inside!

I've got the high top FiveTen Impact Sample on my foot and it's AWESOME!!! The high top is way, way cooler than you would think!!!

Holy crap, my foot sticks to my floors! I'll post pics tonight...sorry to tease! :thumb:

The reason I posted the third one was to give a view of the cool material that looks something like ripstop. As you can tell, the pair I have are a tad bit different in color scheme than the previous photos.

All I can say is these things are way, way comfy...and sticky! I had to clean all the crap off my floor from the bottom before I snapped the pics.

The cut is about the height of a lightweight hiking boot. They are not bulky at all. You can't tell but the tongue actually is not a separate piece but part of the left side of the boot. So the tongue won't ever slide down or over.

Knowing they might release these again is such great news. It beats looking on ebay and other bike sites to find a used stinky pair :P

And Butch is so well known for his old pair of Impact's he is about wear out. I'm glad he got a new pair. :rolleyes:

Nah, joking aside I'm glad he played a role in getting these back to market. I definately need some new ones. Mine are getting close to the Duct tape stage. :(

Well the in the FR version you can take really big drops, and in the DH one you can go really fast....duh.........you don't want to mix them up.

hey i caught it this time yay. :D . and yeh the dh version is more areodynamic. they put it threw the windtunnels with lance armstrong to make it go faster and FEEL faster than the freeride version.

are you wearing that e13 cap? if so, how well does it hug your head? is it really tall, like typical trucker caps, or is it a little lower profile, like FlexFits?

5.10 makes the best rock climbing shoes as well. super sticky and form fitting.

yeah...these "I thought stealth rubber was all the same" FiveTen's that I bought online thinking I was getting the real deal never get ridden.... :rolleyes:

well you see the dh version uses bvt(boost valve technology) and it actually makes you pedal faster and smoother while the freeride has the hos(huck off ****) damping designed by bender. there both formidable shoes but i prefer the dh because of its slightly lighter weight and i prefer the bvt over the hos.

Very nice. I hope these hold up better than the old 5.10's...they had awesome sole but the uppers didn't last worth a lick.

Now Acadian they better be as good as you say its going to be hard to let my Vans go. They do look good except they need a little dirt.

they looks sweet ass, and i need me some new flat shoes. im tired of killing my everyday shoes :(
