Hi kids...again i have the opportunity to get a ripping good deal on a straight eight 01 (compression shock), but i was wondering if it's possible to mount a progressive 5th Element on it? I know you can't mount an avalanche, they say the coil is too large, but i figured the 5.e is meant to replace the Fox, and that's what the bike has. The little spreadsheet they handed out says no, it won't fit, but the model would be the same on a VPP. Any Idea why it wouldn't work? I think it would be an amazing bike with that shock, but i'm not sure if it would fit. Thanks
