Yeah, I know about that. But it’s not accurate. A few years ago another family, the Crawford’s, thru hiked with a toddler but were denied access to the summit of Mt. Katahdin by the rangers who claimed it was unsafe for them to continue beyond the tree line because of his age. So they ended their hike just a couple miles short. They have a YouTube channel called fight for together or something like that.
