I have a Santa Cruz Bullit and my rear suspension, a 5 th element, has beginning stroke compresion adjustment broken, the adjustment turn and turn and not have a end.
Yep call them and get it fixed! When I had my 5th coil blow up the ending stroke adjustment I was told that it takes approx 3 weeks to get it fixed (rebuilt). I told them I had a 24 hours race coming up in 2 weeks and is there anything they could do - and they told me if I overnighted the shock to them, that they would fix it as soon as it go there and return it to me the same way it was shipped. I had it back in 6 working days - just over a week. They were Super workable and great on the repairs - never had any issues at all after that!
My expereice was a very good one with the service dept. Also I should mention my was in the US....
i have a same problem, but i live in europe.
would it work, if i glue them together? (i have a special aluminium glue, with over 80 n/cm2 of tensile strength and hundreds of celsius heat resistance)
Is the damaged area leaking oil? No?
Is your shock working fine with the adjusters at their current position? If so I would suggest leaving it alone and riding it as is. Do you really need to turn that adjuster back and forth to get the most out of your mountainbiking experience?
