5th element noise?

I just built a bullit with the 5th element shock. After a few test rides around the drive way I noticed that the shock makes a loud clunk when it returns to full extension that resonates through the whole bike. I followed the adjustment instructions to set everything up, but this noise does not seem right.
Is it normal? Did I forget something? Is it a lemon?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You may have to much rebound. When you adjust the shock all the revs are from fully closed or fully turned in (ie tight).

Sounds like you got a bummer. 5th's have a non-adjustable ending stroke rebound (last 5% of travel or so is extremly slow) that wouldn't allow such a thing to happen, even if your rebound was turned all the way out.

Yup, I got a bad one alright. The rebound dampening just completely disappeared, any adjustment made no difference. I sent it back today.
Thanks for the feedback.
