Has anyone noticed the spring on their 5th Element rubbing against the resovoir/piggyback?

I was adjusting the preload when I noticed a wear-spot on the spring. Apparently it only rubs when it's active, and barely rubs, but it's enough to notice. I'm riding a 2003 Bullit with a 425# spring.

Did you have any preload on the spring? If not, make sure you have at least 3mm of preload to keep the spring centered on the collar.

Yes, i had preload on the springs

Yes, i've tried rotating the spring to avoid rubbing.

Both have resulted in more wear, just in different spots on the spring.

Does anyone have the 425# spring like I do? I think it might be the large spring rate...
