Go to Fudd Ruckers and get drunk and eat burgers. Lots of Milfy milfs seem to go there.
I'll be with wifey and the 7 yr. old...

my kids enjoyed running back and forth on the escalators and moving walkways during our layover there. the airport actually isn't trbl compared to the city itself.
The problem is that it is, like, $80 in cab fare or more to Greektown or downtown. Not worth it. Looked into uber, they don't do the airport (and still would be over $50)...
Pizza Papalis in Greektown is truly great deep dish pizza joint, if you can swing it.....
Taxi cost aside ... it's 6 fucking hours.

Some people from MI visited the studio recently and told me that Detroit is getting revitalized. Something about it having an Art District now. Might be worth looking into.
The most redeeming thing about detroit is quick access to Chicago and Toronto

I think you can get a rental car for $35. better than 6 hours staring at each other, with a bored 7 year old. I take it you don't have kids! I think we will go see minions, and go out for Greek food.
But he saved 50 dollars! Almost enough to cover a 6 hour car rental and lunch in detroit!
