I bought a 66 for my stinky cause I wanted to be able to do xups and turn downs w/ it but now that I've mounted it up I find the edges of the crowns just hit the down tube. What are my options?
Try going with a headset with a larger stack height. I've seen(posted on here somewhere) a crown race that is slighty taller which would fix your problem.

Yarrr, that's the way to go. Sundays come with a zero-stack headset. You can buy the taller external-house headsets and that will give you the desired clearance and make your headangle a tad slacker.
I see cane creek has a 5mm extended headset. that should probably do it right. Not much of a creek fan but @ this point I guess I have to side w/ functionality. I dont see any other options looking around the standard online stores, is that it? Zero stacks only work with steer tubes designed specificaly to accept them from what I can tell
Yup, With a little slick filling. Rode the bike without bein able to turn the bar 360 long enough to convince myself I'd never part with the fork, and just said F' it. I didnt want to go adding more height to the front end, it was already pretty up there, money was an issue, and It wasnt like I was going to be removing enough material to make the crowns structuraly deficient so why not.
Downside: I didnt want to mess up those pretty little adjuster knobs filling them down so I just removed them. I keep one on a key ring under my seat just incase.
Spent a whole day beating the hell out of the fork @ diablo, with no problems relating to the filling so Id say problem solved.
Oh yea a little masking tape around the place you remove material from and a squirt of black spray paint an no ones the wiser. You'd never notice if you werent looking for it
