i got a bighit pro yesturday and it has the 05 66 vf fork 170mm i soppuse but it shows about 23" axle to crown...and some other forks im seeing isnt but around 21 1/2 to 22.....but when im pedaling up a hill or stand up to pedal it feels like im humpin my damn handle bars...is that they way a big hit feels sence it has a 24" tire....i fount a transition dirtbag 07.....so if i just get the transition dirtbag with a 26" rear wheel and use my same fork....will the head angle and geomatry be better than the big hit with a 24" wheel or will it still feel raked a lil ?...i onyl got enough money to either get the front fork, or get a new frame and id like to get a new frame but i dont wanna spend tha money and yet my frotn end stil be raked

I have heard nothing but bad things on Big Hits. I have a buddy with a dirt bag with a 200mm 888 and the gemometry is perfect....so your 170mm 66 shouldn't rake the head angle at all. I don't think the problem on the big hit is with the head angle I think it's with the effective top tube length and the 24 inch rear tire put together. Although the bike is made for a 24 I still don't like the idea of running two different sized wheels.
