allright, i downhill alot, and plan on starting to racing. i also freeride. i want some one to convince me to get a 66. i want one for the weight and the freedom of doing tricks. im just worried it not being able to stand up to dh racing. (by the way i have giant faith 2)

i like mine very much. I weigh about 145 and i run it on mu bullit, with no air, its really plush and doesn't bottom out.

in a single wide, cooking meth...
I really can't see why you couldn't use it for DH...Same internals as an 888, just one less crown...I've raced mine with no problems...Only complaint is that it's pretty heavy, but I haven't found it to be outrageously flexy either...Have bent the steerer, but only after lawn darting off a 10 foot rock in BC - woulda bent any steerer (or f'ed the lowers, or ripped off the HT)...No issues with new steerer on big drops and DH...

Also agree about the comment regarding running no air in the preload...And FWIW, I have a 170mm RC and my fighting weight is 185 lbs...
